Display modes & recovery

Operate the television like an ambient appliance while retaining a reliable path back to settings.

Onboarding

First launch explains the product, asks for the intended persona and offers standalone or Bridge-connected setup. A personal user is not forced into enterprise pairing.

Hide Settings safely

After onboarding the visible Settings button can be hidden. Play/Pause always reopens the display menu, so presentation preferences can never lock the owner out.

Refresh activity

The “Refreshing personal data” presentation is disabled by default. Operational warnings such as unavailable or stale data remain visible because hiding them would misrepresent source health.
