Keep Apple frameworks behind domain protocols and outside the tvOS renderer.
Calendar
CalendarProviding is the only boundary seen by the domain. The macOS Bridge implements EventKit mapping today; Microsoft Graph, Google Calendar or server bridges belong in separate adapters.
Weather
WeatherProviding applies the same model to WeatherKit. Conditions are mapped from Apple’s typed enum before entering a snapshot, source expiry makes stale data explicit, and attributed Apple Weather current conditions are purged after at most 90 minutes.
The snapshot carries the mark and legal attribution returned by WeatherKit. Clients accept those URLs only from Apple Weather HTTPS hosts and display the required mark without coupling the renderer to WeatherKit. iPhone/iPad and Mac expose the legal page; Apple TV presents Apple’s complete legal attribution text natively.
Privacy levels
- Public titles may be displayed.
- Confidential and private meeting titles are redacted before snapshot construction and persistence.
- The television never receives EventKit identifiers or provider credentials.
