What Meetglow is
Meetglow is a native ambient-display platform. The first complete experience turns an Apple TV or Mac into a meeting-room display for time, availability, meetings, weather and announcements.
The renderer receives one immutable DisplaySnapshot. It does not contact calendars, weather services or IoT systems directly. This keeps the television predictable, cacheable and independent from provider frameworks.
The three planes
- Display plane — tvOS and macOS render compiled native components.
- Data plane — the macOS Bridge aggregates calendar, weather and selected environment values.
- Configuration plane — Meetglow Admin, private CloudKit or the optional self-hosted service synchronize bounded display configuration.
Current scope
Good to know
Version 1.0 ships Meeting Room, Personal Ambient and Administration experiences. Employee screens, lobby displays, signage, cameras and arbitrary media remain future product modes and are not silently enabled.
