The one thing we cannot do

We cannot recover your master passphrase, and neither can Apple. There is no reset link, no support override and no back door — if there were, it would be available to anyone who could impersonate you. Write it down and keep it somewhere physical before you need it.

SiliconPass offers a recovery path built from shares you generate yourself. Set it up while you still have access; it cannot be created afterwards.

Bringing passwords in

SiliconPass reads the Credential Exchange format, which Apple Passwords, 1Password and Bitwarden all export. Classic CSV, 1PUX and KDBX files are not read: a partial import of a password manager is worse than none, so the app refuses rather than guesses. The import report names every item that was degraded or refused.

AutoFill is not filling

Turn SiliconPass on in Settings → General → AutoFill & Passwords on iPhone and iPad, or System Settings → General → AutoFill & Passwords on Mac. The extension needs the vault to have been unlocked at least once since the device started.

Reporting a security issue

Write to [email protected] with the subject “SiliconPass security”. Please describe the class of problem rather than publishing a working exploit, and give us a reasonable window to fix it. We will tell you what we found and what we changed.
